Sign in with Microsoft lets you sign in to SilkFlo with your Microsoft 365 work account, using the same sign-in you already use for email and Teams. It uses OpenID Connect (OIDC) with Microsoft Entra ID, and is available on the Pro and Enterprise plans. This guide explains how to sign in this way, who can use it, and what to check if it doesn’t work.
Why use it #
- Faster sign-in. One click, with the account you’re already signed in to at work.
- Your sign-in rules apply. Multi-factor authentication and the other policies your IT team sets in Microsoft Entra ID apply when you sign in this way.
Your email and password sign-in keeps working alongside it, so you can use either.
Sign in with your Microsoft account #
- Go to the SilkFlo sign-in page, from the SilkFlo website or the link your organisation sent you.
- Click Continue with Microsoft.
- Enter your Microsoft 365 email and password, and complete any extra security step your organisation uses, such as multi-factor authentication.
- You’re taken back to SilkFlo, signed in.
You need an invite before you can sign in. Whoever invites you to SilkFlo chooses your role, and you sign in with that role. SilkFlo matches your Microsoft account to your invite by email address, so use the Microsoft account with the same email your invite was sent to. If you haven’t been invited, SilkFlo won’t let you in.
If sign-in doesn’t work #
- Check you’ve been invited to SilkFlo and have accepted the invite. Ask your SilkFlo Account Owner if you’re not sure.
- Check your Microsoft account uses the same email address as your SilkFlo invite.
- Ask your IT team whether your organisation allows sign-in to SilkFlo in Microsoft Entra ID.
